Heinz Schröder (actor)

Heinz Schröder (born November 30, 1921 in Berlin ; † May 27, 2018 there ) was a German actor .

Life

After the Second World War , which he survived as a soldier, Heinz Schröder studied at the drama school of the Berlin Hebbel Theater under Ernst Schröder . He received his first engagement at the children's and youth theater in Berlin's Titania-Palast , followed by engagements at the stages in Radebeul ( Landesbühnen Sachsen ), Naumburg and Leipzig . In 1955 Heinz Schröder returned to Berlin, where he worked uninterruptedly at the theater of friendship until 1990 . Heinz Schröder then remained true to his profession for a few years, occasionally filming and taking part in a theater tour through Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

In addition to his work as a theater actor, he was a sought-after actor in film and television and acted as a speaker in over 50 radio plays. In 2003 he published his memories of the war years 1939–1945 under the title “Das stifter Lachen: The experiences of the unheroic German soldier HS” .
