Buildings
The village church Hohenbocka was built at the end of the 14th century and has late medieval frescoes.
The large and small Hohenbocka Castle (with a large park) were built between 1897 and 1909. The large castle has a usable area of 1200 square meters, the small one of almost 500 square meters. There is also a nursery building and two coach houses. The buildings were used to house severely disabled children until 1993. With the aim of using the castle as a children's home or for the accommodation of drug addicts, a thorough renovation was carried out between 1993 and 1995, especially the roof, the windows and the facade. Despite intensive efforts by the municipality, which was the owner of the castle until it was sold, it was not possible to use the property as intended. Today (2016) there is a hotel in the castle.
Church and castle are among the architectural monuments in Hohenbocka .
The over 25 m high Buck'sche Schweiz observation tower is about 1.5 km west of the village in the forest area of Buck'sche Schweiz.
