Hundhausen was a village in the municipality of Windeck in the Rhein-Sieg district .

location

Hundhausen lies at the foot of the Leuscheid at the confluence of the Löschbach in the Irserbach . Today it forms the western part of Imhausen . Hundhausen can be reached via Landesstraße 312 .

history

Hundhausen is first mentioned in a document in 1487 as Honnhuyssne .

The village belonged to the parish of Leuscheid and at times to the mayor's office of Herchen .

In 1830 Hundhausen had 41 inhabitants. In 1845 the hamlet had 41 residents in seven houses, 14 of them Catholic and 27 Protestant. In 1888 Hundhausen had forty residents in nine houses.

1910 lived in Hundhausen the householders carpenter Henry Fuchs, railroad workers Eduard Fuchs, Ackerer Friedrich Gans yours, Ackerer and mountain invalid Peter Gelhausen, Ackergehülfe Karl hoof Ackerer Peter Anton hoof, Müller Peter Leaning and widow Heinrich angle.

In 1962 the village had 99 inhabitants, in 1976 there were 128.
