IC 52 is a spiral galaxy from the Hubble type Sdm in the constellation fish on the ecliptic . It is around 92 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 25,000 light years .

The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on August 19, 1892 .
