The K League 2 2018 (also called KEB Bank K League 2 2018 for sponsorship reasons ) is the first season under this name and the sixth season of the second highest South Korean football league since it was founded in 2013. The previous year's champions are Gyeongnam FC . The regular season began in March and is expected to end in October 2018. After the regular season, the play-off games and the relegation games will be played.

Play-off and relegation games
The K League Play-Off and Relegation Games 2018 are the 6th edition of the South Korean Play-Off and Relegation Games between K League 1 and K League 2 since the official introduction in 2013. It will take place after the regular season of both leagues instead of. All play-off teams from K League 1 and the penultimate team from K League 2 are eligible to participate.

First, the play-off winner is determined. In addition, in the semi-finals of the play-off games, the 4th placed in the K League 2 2018 receives the 5th placed in the same league. The winner will play against the 3rd placed in the play-off final. Who wins, competes in the relegation against the penultimate of the K League 1 2018 . The winner of the relegation qualified for the next season in K League 1 and the loser has to compete in K League 2 next season .
