Ladji Doucouré (born March 28, 1983 in Juvisy-sur-Orge , Essonne Department ) is a French hurdler whose special distance is the 110 meters .

At the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens he reached an international final for the first time and finished eighth. In the following season he experienced his international breakthrough. First he was European indoor champion . It started the summer season with a time of 13.14 s, then increased to 13.02 s and three weeks before the World Athletics Championships in Helsinki in 2005 to 12.97 s. This makes him the second European after world record holder Colin Jackson to break the 13-second mark. Doucouré lived up to his role as a favorite and was world champion ahead of Liu Xiang and Allen Johnson . He won a second gold medal at these world championships as the starting runner of the French 4 x 100 meter relay . In the same year he was voted France's Sportsman of the Year (" Champion des champions ") by the sports newspaper L'Équipe , ahead of World Rally Champion Sébastien Loeb and World Swimming Champion Laure Manaudou . At the 2008 Olympics , Doucouré was fourth. At the 2009 European Indoor Championships he was able to repeat his 2005 title.

In 2019 he took part in the tenth season of the French dance show Danse avec les stars and reached second place.

Ladji Doucouré is 1.85 m tall and has a competition weight of 75 kg.
