It should be noted that until 2007, Baden-Württemberg was the only federal state that allowed a maximum speed of 100 km / h in its motorway and road tunnels, provided they are equipped with two tubes. In the meantime, however, both Bavaria and North Rhine-Westphalia have begun to increase the maximum speed in some twin-tube motorway and road tunnels from 80 km / h to 100 km / h. In the other federal states 80 km / h are allowed.

Remarks

Note 1 The Gaisberg tunnel in Heidelberg connects Adenauerplatz with the Friedrich-Ebert-Anlage (only in this direction of travel). The Schlossberg tunnel connects the Friedrich-Ebert-Anlage with the Schlierbacher Landstrasse ( B 37 ) in the direction of Neckargemünd. The Friedrich-Ebert-Anlage has two separate lanes up to the Schlossberg tunnel.

Note 2 In the course of the new construction of the Rosenstein tunnel (B 10), the Schwanenplatz tunnel will also be rebuilt; this is connected to the Leuze tunnel by an additional short tunnel.

Note 3 Leuzetunnel: New construction of a third tunnel tube as part of the new construction of the Rosenstein road tunnel and a short tunnel to the Schwanenplatztunnel (B 14) by 2020.

Note 4 In the new development area Hinterweil, which has been built since the 1970s, car traffic and pedestrians / cyclists should be consistently separated , so only Guttenbrunnstrasse crosses the residential area, and it passes under the center in a tunnel.
