List of incumbent German state social ministers

Higher Social Minister lead the country's Ministry of Social Services in question.

At the moment 16 people hold the office of Minister of Social Affairs, 12 of them are women. Six incumbents belong to the SPD, four to the Greens, three to the Union parties , two to the Left and one to the FDP.

Anja Stahmann (Greens, Bremen, since 2011) has the longest term of office of the current state social minister .
