List of incumbent German state ministers of justice

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

State ministers of justice head the supreme state authority responsible for the administration of justice in the German states . The Justice Division is usually administered by a separate Ministry of Justice in each country .

Within the framework of cooperative federalism , the justice ministers of the federal states work together in the conference of justice ministers (in short: Justice Ministers ' Conference , JMK), whose meetings are also regularly attended by the federal minister responsible for justice . Through their membership in the Federal Council - in particular in its legal committee - the justice ministers participate in federal legislation .
