Anne-Marie Keding

Anne-Marie Keding (born March 15, 1966 in Liebenau ) is a German politician ( CDU ). From 2011 to 2016 she was State Secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment of Saxony-Anhalt . She has been Minister for Justice and Equality in Saxony-Anhalt since April 25, 2016 .

Life and work

Keding studied law in Freiburg im Breisgau and Munich , after which she did her legal clerkship at the Stade Regional Court . In 1994 she joined the state administration of Saxony-Anhalt. She initially worked in the Magdeburg Regional Council and later moved to the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of the Environment. From 2002 she worked in the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, where she rose to head of department with responsibility for agriculture, genetic engineering and vocational training.

Anne-Marie Keding is married and has two children.

Keding has been a member of the CDU since 1985. At times she was a member of the Magdeburg city council.

On May 18, 2011, Keding was appointed as the successor to Jürgen Stadelmann as State Secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment of the State of Saxony-Anhalt, led by Hermann Onko Aeikens (CDU) ( Cabinet Haseloff I ).
