The list of libraries in North Rhine-Westphalia names public and private libraries in North Rhine-Westphalia.

Over 300 libraries in North Rhine-Westphalia have joined forces in the Association of Libraries of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia (vbnw) based in Münster. The vbnw also functions as the regional association of the German Library Association .

The university library center of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia (hbz), based in Cologne, is a state institution. Together with the university libraries and large municipal libraries, it operates a library network and offers other services (e.g. the hbz network database ) in the library and information area. The North Rhine-Westphalian Bibliography is considered the state bibliography .
