Lubina (Slovak until 1927 "Ľubina"; Hungarian Lobonya - until 1907 Lubina ) is a municipality in western Slovakia . It is located in a basin between the White and Little Carpathians on the Kamečnica stream , about nine kilometers west of Nové Mesto nad Váhom .
The place was first mentioned in writing in 1397. There is a baroque-classical Protestant church in the village from 1784.
The municipality consists of the municipality parts Hrnčiarové , Lubina and Miškech Dedinka .
