Lucas Prisor (born September 23, 1983 in Hanover ) is a German actor .

Life

Lucas Prisor grew up in Hanover and graduated from high school there. During his school years he spent a year at an American high school in New York State. In his childhood and youth, Lucas Prisor worked in street and school theater as well as in intercultural theater projects between Germany and Morocco. In 2005 he got his first small guest role in the young theater in Göttingen in the play As You Like It ( Shakespeare ) .

He completed his acting studies at the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy University of Music and Theater in Leipzig. During this time he worked at the Centraltheater Leipzig under the direction of Sebastian Hartmann . In 2009 he was brought in by Martin Wuttke for his production of Das adventurliche Herz: Drge und Rausch . to the Berliner Ensemble From 2009 to 2011 Lucas Prisor was a permanent member of the ensemble under the direction of Claus Peymann . The first leading roles followed (Leonardo from the trilogy of the beautiful holiday season ( Goldoni ), the templar from Nathan the Wise ( Lessing ), as well as works with Peter Stein ( Oedipus on Kolonos ), alongside Klaus-Maria Brandauer , in coproduction with the Salzburgers Festival ), Robert Wilson , Thomas Langhoff and Manfred Karge .

In November 2011 he got another leading role in the world premiere of Die Sonne ( Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz ), written and staged by the French director Olivier Py , which performed with great success in Paris at the Odéon Théâtre de l'Europe in March 2012 .

Since 2008 there has also been work for film and television, u. a. in Tatort Leipzig and SOKO Stuttgart , as well as in 2013 in the ZDF two-parter Die Pilgerin (director: Philipp Kadelbach ) alongside Josefine Preuß , Jacob Matschenz and Volker Bruch u. a. His first leading role followed in September 2013 for the Sat.1 feature film Mein Lover, seine Vater und Ich! (Director: Holger Haase ).

He got his first film role in 2012 through the French film director François Ozon in the film Jung und Schön (Jeune et Jolie) a. a. alongside Marine Vacth and Charlotte Rampling , who competed for the Palme d'Or at the Cannes International Film Festival in May 2013 .

In August 2013, the film Diplomatie (director: Volker Schlöndorff ) was shot in Paris. Here he played an SS officer, u. a. alongside Niels Arestrup and Robert Stadlober (contribution to the Berlin International Film Festival 2014). In the summer of 2014, filming followed in Norway ( Unterm Eis , director: Jörg Grünler) alongside u. a. David Rott and Henry Hübchen , as well as in Prague for the ARD two-parter Die Himmelsleiter , directed by Carlo Rola , alongside Axel Prahl , Christiane Paul and others.

In spring 2015, Lucas Prisor shot Elle , a film adaptation of the psychological thriller Oh ... by Philippe Djian, under Dutch director Paul Verhoeven (director, 1938) . Here he played alongside Isabelle Huppert and Christian Berkel , who ran in Cannes 2016 in the competition, and u. a. was nominated for an Oscar and won two Golden Globe Awards . He then played in Sherry Hormann's Lotte Jäger and in the French cinema production Un sac de billes based on the bestseller by Joseph Joffo (director: Christian Duguay (director) ).

In 2016, Prisor performed a speaking role at the Opéra de Paris in Aribert Reimann's version of "Lear" (directed by Calixto Bieito , conductor was Fabio Luisi ). He also took part in several TV productions, including the DEFA remake of "Das singende, klingende Bäumchen", as well as in the French movie "Nos Patriotes" (director: Gabriel Le Bomin) alongside Alexandra Lamy .

Further French work followed with Julie Delpy's film "My Zoe", which was produced by Daniel Brühl, among others. Another movie with the title "War Photographer" (director: Bernd K. Wunder) with Lucas Prisor in the lead role was shot in Italy. Here he shot with Vladimir Burlakov, Uwe Preuss, Katia Fellin and John Savage, among others.

In the crime scene "Zeit der Fösche", broadcast in 2018, he was seen as Heike Makatsch's lover.

In the series "Die Bonusfamilie " (Isabel Braak) broadcast in 2019 , which is an adaptation of the successful Swedish format (Netflix), he can be seen in the role of Patrick (German premiere on November 20, 2019).

Since 2009 he has lived and worked in Berlin and Paris.
