history

In 1235, an Albert von Musemardorf was mentioned in a castle- count document. This is also the first mention of the place and makes it clear that there was a local nobility at that time. In 1295 the place was called "Mauselmansdorf", in 1438 "Maußmanstorf". According to a description from the year 1502/06, “Mäusmersdorff” was partly subordinate to the Coming Nuremberg of the Teutonic Order , partly to the Neundorf office of the imperial city of Nuremberg . There were also subjects of the margravial office of Emskirchen and the monastery office of Münchaurach .

Towards the end of the 18th century there were 16 properties in Mausdorf (also called Mausmannsdorf). The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Bayreuth Fraischvogteiamt Emskirchen-Hagenbüchach . The village and township government had the box and jurisdiction office Emskirchen held. The landlords were the Principality of Bayreuth ( box office Neuhof : 5 estates; monastery office Münchaurach: 1 courtyard, 2 half-yards, 1 inn, 2 estates, 2 small estates) and the Nuremberg hospital (1 courtyard, 1 half-courtyard, 1 house).

In 1810 Mausdorf came to the new Kingdom of Bavaria . As part of the municipal edict, it was assigned to the Münchaurach tax district formed in 1811 . In 1813 the rural community Mausdorf was formed, to which Grieshof , Leitsmühle , Neundorf and Oberniederndorf belonged. With the second community edict (1818) Neundorf formed its own rural community. The administration and jurisdiction of the municipality of Mausdorf was subordinate to the Markt Erlbach regional court and the tax office to the Neustadt an der Aisch rent office . From 1862 Mausdorf was administered by the Neustadt an der Aisch district office (renamed Neustadt an der Aisch district in 1938 ) and from 1856 by the Markt Erlbach rent office (1920–1929: Markt Erlbach tax office , from 1929: Neustadt an der Aisch tax office ). The jurisdiction remained until 1879 with the district court of Markt Erlbach, 1880–1959 district court of Markt Erlbach , from 1959 district court of Fürth . The municipality had an area of 7.553 km².

On January 1, 1978 Mausdorf was incorporated into Emskirchen as part of the regional reform .
