NGC 4375 is a barred spiral galaxy of the type SBab / P in the constellation Haar der Berenike in the northern sky . It is around 405 million light years away from the Milky Way .
On June 18, 1960, the supernova SN 1960J was discovered by Milton Humason .
The galaxy was discovered on April 11, 1785 by the German-British astronomer Wilhelm Herschel .
