NGC 4432 is a barred spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBbc in the constellation Virgo on the ecliptic . It is an estimated 283 million light years from the Milky Way and about 75,000 light years across .
The galaxies NGC 4423 , NGC 4430 , NGC 4453 , IC 3414 are in the same area of the sky .
The object was discovered by Albert Marth on March 22, 1865 .
