NGC 4898 is a gravitational double galaxy consisting of NGC 4898-1 and NGC 4898-2 . NGC 4898-1 is a 13.6 likes bright elliptical galaxy from the Hubble type E3; NGC 4898-2 is a 13.6 mag elliptical Hubble-type E0 galaxy. Both galaxies belong to the Coma galaxy cluster , can be found in the constellation Haar der Berenike and are about 300 million light years away from the Milky Way. They were discovered by Heinrich Louis d'Arrest on April 6, 1864 .
