NGC 4907 is a 13.6 mag bright bar-spiral galaxy with an active nucleus of the Hubble-type "SBb" in the constellation Haar der Berenike in the northern sky . It is an estimated 263 million light-years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 85,000 ly. The galaxy is considered a member of the Coma galaxy cluster  Abell 1656 . 
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies NGC 4895 , IC 4040 , IC 4045 , IC 4051 .
The object was discovered on May 5, 1864 by Heinrich Louis d'Arrest .
