NGC 4926 is a 13.0 mag bright galaxy of the Hubble type E-S0 in the constellation Haar der Berenike , which is approximately 114.6 million light years from the Milky Way. It belongs to the Coma galaxy cluster and forms with the non-NGC objects PGC 44968 (also called NGC 4926 A ) and PGC 83758 (also called NGC 4926 B ) an optical, possibly also a triple galaxy connected by gravity .
It was discovered on April 6, 1864 by Heinrich Louis d'Arrest .
