The New Worb Castle is a Neo-Baroque country estate from the 18th century in Worb in the canton of Bern in Switzerland .

history

Between 1734 and 1737 the castle , which was probably designed by the Bernese architect Albrecht Stürler , with a stately garden was built by Franz Ludwig von Graffenried . This was bought in 1792 by Thun mayor Johann Rudolf von Sinner. Between 1831 and 1916, several new owners carried out major renovations. In 1985 it was acquired by Charles von Graffenried and extensively renovated.
