The Cayman Islands took part in the 2012 Olympic Games in London . It was the ninth participation in the Summer Olympics. The Cayman Islands Olympic Committee nominated five athletes in two sports.

The flag bearer at the opening ceremony was the swimmer Brett Fraser .
