Pekka Päivärinta (born January 11, 1971 in Helsinki ) is a Finnish motorcycle racer and self-employed master painter .

He is a five-time team - world champion and vice- world champion .

2011 season

After Schleiz , Kurt Hock and Enrico Becker were still ten points behind, but Hock / Becker dropped out at the Red Bull Ring , and Päivärinta / Hänni were able to catch up and secure the German championship at the sixth round in Hockenheim . Pekka Päivärinta and his Swiss co-driver Adolf Hänni had already secured the world championship in Oschersleben .
