Pike County is a county in the state of Pennsylvania in the United States . At the 2010 census , the county had 57,369 residents and a population density of 40.5 people per square kilometer. The county seat is Milford .

history

Pike County was formed from Wayne County on March 26, 1814 and named after the military and explorer Zebulon Pike .

Two places in the county have National Historic Landmark status , the Minisink Archeological Site and the Gray Towers National Historic Site . 27 buildings and sites in the county are listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) (as of July 24, 2018).
