Presidential Bridge was a town in the municipality of Windeck in the Rhein-Sieg district .

location

Presidential bridge was due to the influence of the Westertbach in the victory .

history

Presidential Bridge was originally called a bridge over the Westertbach, built in 1852, which connected Dattenfeld- Schladern with Rosbach . It was named after Eduard von Moeller , District President of Cologne , who added 500 Thaler to build the bridge. The name carried over to houses built there later.

In 1863 the settlement had twenty residents. At that time the Gasthof Heider was a 2nd class postal expedition . The settlement belonged to the parish of Rosbach and at times to the mayor's office Dattenfeld .

In 1888 Presidential Bridge had twelve residents in three houses. In 1962 the village had 18 inhabitants.

In 1976 the last house was demolished to make way for road construction. The name of the old bridge has now been transferred to the new bridge over the Sieg (Kreisstraße 7), although officially only the nearby bus stop was named Presidential Bridge .
