Puigpunyent ( Puigpuñent in Castilian ) is one of the 53 communities on the Spanish Balearic island of Mallorca . It has 2012 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2019), of whom 1398 lived in the main town of the same name in 2008. In 2006 the proportion of foreigners in the municipality was 18.7% (305), the proportion of German residents was 5.2% (84).
