Oberlascheid is a municipality in the Eifelkreis Bitburg-Prüm in Rhineland-Palatinate . It belongs to the community of Prüm .

geography

Oberlascheid is located in the North Eifel Nature Park, right on the border with Belgium . Radscheid is a district of Oberlascheid. The community also includes the residential areas Auf der Brück, Hascheiderhof, Herzfenn and Birkenhof.

history

Oberlascheid was first mentioned in 1187, the current district of Radscheid a hundred years later. The construction of a previous building of the St. Stefan Chapel is dated to around 1600.
