Reidershof was a village in the municipality of Windeck in the Rhein-Sieg district .

location

Reidershof lies on the Leuscheid . Today it forms the north-western part of Leuscheid . Other neighboring towns are Werfermühle in the west and Ohmbach in the north.

history

The village belonged to the parish of Herchen and at times to the mayor's office of Herchen .

In 1830 the hamlet had 33 residents.

In 1845 Reidershof had 41 residents in eight houses, all except three Catholics of Protestant faith.

In 1888 the hamlet had 38 residents in nine houses.

In 1910 the households were farmhand Gerhard Bitzer, day laborer Gerhard Breidenbach, widow Johann Wilhelm Butz, carpenter Gerhard Fuchs, carpenter Wilhelm Gabriel, farmhand Friedrich Wilhelm Lenz, farmhand Gerhard Heinrich Markus and farmhand Wilhelm Markus.

In 1962 the place had 62 inhabitants, in 1976 82.
