Saint-Léger ( Occitan Sent Leuger ) is a municipality with 133 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in France in the department of Lot-et-Garonne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Aquitaine ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Nérac and the canton of Lavardac ( Damazan until 2015 ). The inhabitants are called Saint-Légerois .

geography

Saint-Léger is located about 37 kilometers west-northwest of Agen on the Garonne , which borders the municipality in the east and into which the Baïse flows here. Saint-Léger is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Monheurt in the north, Aiguillon in the east, Buzet-sur-Baïse in the south, Damazan in the west and Puch-d'Agenais in the north-west.
