It belongs to the Arrondissement Nérac and the municipal association Coteaux et Landes de Gascogne, founded in 1996 . The residents call themselves Réunionnais .

The municipality of La Réunion is located in the Guyenne , 43 kilometers west-northwest of the city of Agen . Neighboring municipalities of La Réunion are Casteljaloux in the north and west, Leyritz-Moncassin in the northeast, Anzex in the east, Fargues-sur-Ourbise in the south and southeast and Pompogné in the southwest.
