Sauméjan ( Occitan : Saut Mejan ) is a municipality with 107 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in France in the department of Lot-et-Garonne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Aquitaine ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Nérac and the canton Les Forêts de Gascogne (until 2015: Canton Houeillès ). The inhabitants are called Sauméjanais .

Sauméjan is about 50 kilometers west of Agen . Sauméjan is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Pindères in the north, Pompogne in the east and northeast, Houeillès in the south and southeast and Allons in the south and west.
