Thouars-sur-Garonne ( Occitan : Toars de Garona ) is a municipality with 218 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in France in the department of Lot-et-Garonne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Nérac and the canton of Lavardac . The inhabitants are called Thouarquais .

geography

Thouars-sur-Garonne is about 29 kilometers west-northwest of Agen . The municipality is bounded by the Garonne to the east and the Baïse to the west. Thouars-sur-Garonne is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Buzet-sur-Baïse in the north and west, Aiguillon in the north-east, Port-Sainte-Marie in the east, Feugarolles in the south and south-east and Vianne in the south and south-west.
