Monheurt ( Occitan Monurt ) is a municipality with 192 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in France in the department of Lot-et-Garonne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Aquitaine ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Nérac and the canton Lavardac (until 2015 canton Damazan ). The inhabitants are called Monheurquais .

geography

Monheurt is about 39 kilometers west-northwest of Agen on the Garonne , which borders the municipality in the east. Monheurt is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Villeton in the north, Tonneins in the northeast, Nicole in the east, Aiguillon in the southeast, Saint-Léger in the south and Puch-d'Agenais in the west.
