Lamontjoie ( Occitan La Montjòia ) is a municipality with 605 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in France in the department of Lot-et-Garonne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Aquitaine ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Nérac and the canton L'Albret (until 2015 Francescas ).

Lamontjoie is about nineteen kilometers south-southwest of Agen . Lamontjoie is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Vincent-de-Lamontjoie in the north and northwest, Laplume in the north, Marmont-Pachas in the northeast, Pergain-Taillac in the east, Saint-Mézard and Pouy-Roquelaure in the south, Ligardes in the southwest and Nomdieu in the West and northwest.
