Lamontjoie is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Vincent-de-Lamontjoie in the north and northwest, Laplume in the north, Marmont-Pachas in the northeast, Pergain-Taillac in the east, Saint-Mézard and Pouy-Roquelaure in the south, Ligardes in the southwest and Nomdieu in the West and northwest.
