Scott Goldblatt (* 12. July 1979 in Scotch Plains , New Jersey ) is a US -American freestyle swimmer .
Scott Goldblatt won silver in the 200 m freestyle and gold in the 4 × 200 m freestyle relay at the 1997 Summer Universiade in Sicily . At the 2001 World Swimming Championships in Fukuoka , he won the bronze medal with the US 4 × 200 m freestyle relay. At the Olympic Games in Sydney 2000 Goldblatt was eliminated from the 200 m freestyle in the semi-finals and finished ninth. He won the silver medal in the 4 × 200 m freestyle. At the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens , he was only used in the run-up to the 4 × 200 m freestyle, but since the American relay team was Olympic champion in the final, he also received the gold medal.
