The 2021 Bobsleigh and Skeleton World Championships will take place from February 1 to February 14, 2021 in the SachsenEnergie-Eiskanal in Altenberg. The world champions in bobsleigh and skeleton are determined.
Award
The venue for the world championships was determined by the delegates of the International Bobsleigh & Skeleton Federation , IBSF for short, in Salt Lake City in June 2017 . The Mount Van Hoevenberg Olympic Bobsled Run in Lake Placid prevailed against the Olympic Bob Run in St. Moritz with 24 to 19 votes . On September 15, 2020, the world association announced that the title competitions would be relocated from Lake Placid to Altenberg due to the COVID-19 pandemic . In return, the Bobsleigh and Skeleton World Championships are to be held in Lake Placid in 2025 .
