The Heerberg Church , standing on a ridge, is the symbol of Sulzbach-Laufen and is described in numerous descriptions as the “precious gem” of the Kocher Valley. It was built in the 15th century by Schenk Albrecht von Gaildorf. A bell in the tower bears the year 1497.
The former Schmiedelfeld Castle is located in the Schloßschmiedelfeld district .
On the Altenberg , the highest point in the district of Schwäbisch Hall and in the Heilbronn-Franconia region , there is the year-round open Altenberg Tower with a view of the Ellwanger Mountains , Limpurger Mountains , Frickenhofer Höhe and the Albrand .
In the municipal area many deeply cut sides open sound Kochertal, such as the forest valleys of the opening at the Laufener Windmill Great Wimbachs or coming between running and Sulzbach from the direction of Altenberg's Nägele Bach . The longest tributary in the municipality, however, is the Eisbach , which runs from the area of Gaildorf- Winzenweiler in the north to Sulzbach, in its forest gorge, which is almost uninhabited to the last.
