Thomas Deenihan (born June 20, 1967 in Blackpool , County Cork , Ireland ) is an Irish clergyman and Roman Catholic Bishop of Meath .

Life

Thomas Deenihan was on 1 April 1990 by the Coadjutor Bishop of Meath, Michael Smith , the deacon ordained. He received on June 1, 1991 the Bishop of Cork and Ross , Michael Murphy , the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On June 18, 2018, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Meath. The Archbishop of Armagh , Eamon Martin , ordained him episcopal on September 2 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Cork and Ross, John Buckley , and the Bishop Emeritus of Meath, Michael Smith.
