Vinné (1927–1948 Slovak "Vinná"; Hungarian Vinna ) is a municipality in Kraj Košice in eastern Slovakia . It is located at the southwestern foot of the Vihorlat on the northern edge of the eastern Slovak lowlands , 8 km from Michalovce .
It was first mentioned in writing in 1249. There is an early Gothic church of St. Anne from the 13th century and a late Baroque castle from the 17th century. In the area there are the ruins of the Vinné castle and two larger bodies of water - the Vinné lake ( Vinianske jazero ) and the Zemplínska šírava reservoir .
