ATP Studena Croatia Open 2006

The ATP Studena Croatia Open 2006 was a tennis tournament that took place from July 24th to 30th, 2006 in Umag . It was part of the ATP Tour 2006 and was played on clay court. The tournament was part of the ATP World Tour 250 category .

Defending champion in the singles was Guillermo Coria , who this year failed in the first round to Robin Vik . In the final, the Swiss Stan Wawrinka won against Novak Đoković by giving up the Serb in the first set with a score of 6: 6. This also meant the first title for Wawrinka on the ATP Tour, after he had already been in a final a year earlier. In doubles, Jiří Novák and Petr Pála were the defending champions, but they did not compete this year. Her compatriots Jaroslav Levinský and David Škoch won the final in straight sets against the Spanish duo Guillermo García-López and Albert Portas .
