Amadeus Awards 2021

The 21st presentation of the Amadeus Austrian Music Awards was broadcast on ORF 1 on September 9, 2021 . The nominations for the FM4 Award were announced on March 29, 2021, the nominations in the other categories on April 15, 2021 by Conchita Wurst via stream.

Nomination and event

Julian le Play received nominations in four categories, with Edmund , Melissa Naschenweng and My Ugly Clementine each receiving three nominations .

After hardly any live performances had been possible since March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic , there were no nominations in the Live Act of the Year category . This award went to all acts nominated this year as a “thank you for all those who persevered during the pandemic and as motivation to continue creatively”.

The award ceremony was broadcast on ORF 1 and presented by Conchita Wurst . In Amadeus Music Sessions , Wanda , Alle Achtung , Josh. , Edmund , 5 / 8erl in Ehr'n , Opus , Melissa Naschenweng , AVEC , Wallners / Oehl / Sharktank (medley), Ankathie Koi , Pan Kee Bois / Eli Preiss (medley), Oska / Lisa Pac / Christl (medley) and Hearts Hearts shown.
