Career

Bitetto played during his junior years for the New York Apple Core in the Eastern Junior Hockey League until 2009 . He then ran up to the summer of 2010 for the Indiana Ice in the United States Hockey League . At the end of the 2008/09 season he had won the Clark Cup with the team . After his involvement with the Ice, the defender was selected in the sixth round in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft in 168th place by the Nashville Predators from the National Hockey League . However, he initially moved to Northeastern University for two years , with whose ice hockey program he was active in Hockey East , a division in the game operations of Northeastern University. Bitetto made it into the division's all- rookie team in 2011 .

After the end of the college season in spring 2012, the American switched to the Nashville Predators franchise , where he was active for the Milwaukee Admirals farm team in the American Hockey League (AHL) until the 2014/15 season . Only in the course of the season he made his debut for the Predators in the NHL. In the 2015/16 season he was able to further establish himself there.

After nearly seven years in the Predators' organization, Bitetto was signed by the Minnesota Wild in January 2019 when he was about to be sent to the AHL via the waiver . There he ended the season and then moved to the Winnipeg Jets as a free agent in July 2019 .
