Ben Cramer (actually: Bernardus Kramer , born February 17, 1947 in Amsterdam ) is a Dutch pop singer and musical actor .

Cramer's debut single Zai zai zai was released in 1967 and was able to place itself directly in the Dutch charts . Other hits from him were Dans met mij and De Clown . He was selected to represent his country at the 1973 Eurovision de la Chanson Concours in Luxembourg . With De oude muzikant he landed in 14th place (out of 17). Ben Cramer had chart hits again and again until 1980, after which he was quieter.

In 1989 he could be seen as Juan Perón in the musical Evita , which was followed by other appearances in productions such as Chicago and Phantom of the Opera .
