Franklin Brown (aka Franklin Kroonenberg , born March 11, 1961 in Rotterdam ) is a Dutch singer .
Together with the singer Maxine , he won the Dutch preselection for the 1996 Eurovision Song Contest . At the contest in Oslo , the duo reached seventh place with their hit De Eerste Keer . The duo split up after the contest. Brown started his own artist agency called FB eye Productions . In 2007 the hit duo released another single with Steeds Weer . Brown is also active as a jazz singer.
