Saskia & Serge
Saskia & Serge is a Dutch hit duo , consisting of the couple Trudy van den Berg (born April 23, 1947 in Stede Broec ) and Ruud Schaap (born March 22, 1946 in Den Helder ).
history
The duo made their first steps in 1967, when they won a talent competition as Trudy & Ruud . In 1969 the two married and from then on appear as Saskia & Serge . In 1971 they were selected to represent their country in the 1971 Eurovision Song Contest in Dublin . They reached sixth place with the folk ballad Tijd .
The duo first published hits and folk music, and from 1976 country music was added.
