Justine Pelmelay (aka Anneke Wilma Pelmelay ; born September 24, 1958 in Leiden ) is a Dutch singer .
The daughter of Indonesian parents was born into a musical family. At a young age she was with various bands and orchestras, often as a background singer . At the Eurovision Song Contest in 1988 she accompanied the Dutch interpreter Gerard Joling in the background choir. A year later it was her turn, she represented the Netherlands at the Concours Eurovision de la Chanson in Lausanne with the pop ballad Blijf zoals je bent ( Eng : stay as you are ). She reached 15th place with 45 points.
She stayed true to the music and released various albums, in the early 1990s she sang three albums with Lonny Gerungan as Justine & Marlon .
On January 13, 2012, she was a rescued passenger on the crashed Costa Concordia .
