Marlayne Sahupala

Marlayne Sahupala (* 1. July 1971 in Baarn than Marleen van den Broek ) is a Dutch pop singer and presenter .

She made her first experiences as a singer in the background choir of singer René Froger . As the winner of the Dutch preliminary decision, she was allowed to compete in the Eurovision Song Contest 1999 in Jerusalem . With the pop song One Good Reason she made eighth place. In 2000, 2001 and 2003 she announced the points from the Netherlands at the contest. In 2001 their only album Meant to Be was released .

From 2003 she became the presenter of the news format Hart von Nederland and shortly afterwards of De Nieuwe Uri Geller , the Dutch version of The next Uri Geller .
