Conny Vandenbos
Conny Vandenbos (born January 16, 1937 in The Hague as Jacoba Adriana Hollestelle , † April 7, 2002 in Amsterdam ) was a Dutch pop singer .
After an appearance at the Belgian Knokkefestival in 1961, she received a record deal. In 1965 she was allowed to represent her country at the Gran Premio Eurovisione della Canzone in Naples . With the hit 't is genoeg she reached eleventh place. From this time on she had various singles and albums in the Dutch charts until the 1980s. In the 1990s she was still working as a radio presenter. She died of lung cancer in 2002 .
Her stage name comes from her first marriage to Wim van den Bos .
