The ancestral seat of the local noble family of the Rornstatt , proven since the 13th century , a ministerial family of the Counts of Hirschberg, is seen in the castle stable . These moved their headquarters to Oberrohrenstadt Castle in the 15th century . Racklberg Castle was probably destroyed in the Landshut War of Succession in 1504/05 and was not rebuilt afterwards.
