The section fortification Sindelbach , also called Wallburg Sindlbach , is located near Sindlbach , today part of the Bavarian municipality of Berg bei Neumarkt in the Upper Palatinate in the Upper Palatinate district of Neumarkt in the Upper Palatinate . The plant is located approx. 1100 m northwest of Sindlbach and 700 m east-southeast of Unterrohrenstadt on the Lindenbühl.

description

The protruding nose at the level of the Lindenbühl is shielded from the backland by a 2 m high and 50 m long section wall. There is a shallow and irregular ditch in front of the wall . The wall turns in at both ends and follows the slope sides as a low edge wall. It has already slipped in several places and has probably been dug up recently. The inner area measures 60 × 100 m. 30 m before the section wall, another very flat wall crosses the mountain ridge with a shallow ditch for 30 m. There is probably a wall core in the ramparts, as can be deduced from excavations in stripes.
