Catherine Scott (born Pomales ; born August 27, 1973 in Clarendon Parish ) is a former Jamaican hurdler whose specialty was the 400-meter distance .
At the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta she was eliminated in the preliminary stages, at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney she reached the semifinals.
In the 4 x 400 meter relay , Scott won several medals with the Jamaican national team. At the 1992 Olympics , the Jamaican relay came fifth and in 2000 in Sydney it won Olympic silver.
2001 followed a silver medal at the World Indoor Championships in Lisbon and a gold medal at the World Championships in Edmonton , in 2003 another silver medal at the World Indoor Championships in Birmingham .
Catherine Scott is 1.73 m tall and weighed 63 kg in her active days,
